Objectives
By the end of this session, you will have:
- ✓ A dedicated phone number for your COS (via Bland.ai)
- ✓ Inbound call handler built – screens callers, collects info, routes appropriately
- ✓ Calendar availability connected – your COS can offer and book times
- ✓ Live test: called your own COS number and watched it work
- ✓ Outbound call script drafted (stretch goal)
Tools We're Using
Bland.ai
AI voice agent platform. Powers inbound screening, outbound calls, and scheduling – all in your COS's voice.
bland.ai →
Hermes + Bland integration
We wire Bland into your existing Hermes setup so call logs and actions flow back into your COS brain.
Google Calendar
Your availability layer. The voice agent checks it before offering times to callers.
Your list from Session 1
Those 3 things you wanted your COS to handle? We're building them in this session.

-
Part 3Build the Inbound Handler (25 min)Screening logic, calendar link, escalation path.

Part 4Live Test (15 min)Everyone calls their own COS number. It works or we fix it live.
-
Part 5Outbound Script + Open Support (30 min)Stretch: outbound call logic. Questions, troubleshooting, wins.
Homework
Give your COS number to at least one real person this week. A vendor, a prospect, anyone. Tell them it's your assistant's line.
Watch what happens. Note any gaps – things the COS didn't handle well, or calls it should've caught but didn't.
Bring those notes to Session 3. That's the raw material for your intelligence layer.
